My story:

I first became acquainted with the healing art of acupuncture, as a patient, nearly fifteen years ago and from the very first treatment I was left fascinated by the philosophy of the medicine and the effect of the needles. I entered the session without preconceived notions and left truly astounded by my body’s response to this powerful form of medicine. Since that first treatment, I continued on a weekly course of therapy making this gentle form of healing a preventive medicine for me in my goal to maintain my physical, mental and spiritual health and balance. Over the years, treatments have focused on different issues based upon my state and needs.

It was, coincidentally, during an acupuncture treatment while under the calming effect of Yin Tang, a point between the eyes, that the epiphany to study Traditional Chinese Medicine transpired for me years ago. Now as an Acupuncture Physician, it had been my objective to spread the word and teach my patients to adopt Traditional Chinese Medicine as a form of preventive care that can have a long term impact on their health. By convert the mindset of patients from reactive to proactive care, we can achieve more profound healing.
